threat
The current governance structure of Israel represents an existential danger to the future of the country, regardless of the ruling coalition’s identity.
solution
The "Alumot" program -
a national program stipulating a permanent change to the governance structure of Israel.
vision
A strong and prosperous State of Israel celebrating one hundred years of its independence as one of the leading and respected countries around the world.
Who are we and what are our goals?
Israel Strategic Futures Institute was established by Prof. Eugene Kandel and Ron Tzur as a convening space for individuals and organizations from a wide range of spheres focused on designing strategic structural solutions to the existential challenges of the State of Israel.
We aim to provide hope of a much better future to all the citizens of Israel.
What are we doing?
We facilitate brainstorming in meetings, conferences and through the social media that is focused on innovative yet practical solution for a significant structural change.
We invite you to join this start-up to make Israel into a unicorn for the sake of our children and grandchildren.
Why now?
The State of Israel has an antiquated governing structure that no longer matches the needs of the country and of its citizens and endangers Israel’s very existence. The October 7 and the months that followed have exposed Israel's structural weaknesses and illustrated more than anything that we simply cannot continue under the old system.
We have time to change, we have the blueprint of a plan, but we don’t have time to waste.
The national program "Alumot" - offers a coherent model for structural changes of the political and the government systems in Israel, eliminating two existential threats that divide and weaken us from inside and invite attacks from our enemies.
Today, in the face of despair, the Alumot program gives hope of sustainable, strong and prosperous Israel for many decades to come.
The Founders
Eugene Kandel
