​​1.This Privacy Policy (hereinafter: the "Privacy Policy") applies to the way in which we, the Israel Strategic Futures Institute, an initiative of CommunityO (hereinafter: "ISFI", the "Initiative", "we", "our" or "us"), use Personal Information (as defined below) that is collected, received, or stored by us about individuals, including volunteers and other individuals who are interested in our activities, in connection with the use of our website: https://www.israelstrategicfutures.org/en, including its sub-domains and contents (hereinafter collectively: the "Website").​

2. Introduction. This Privacy Policy is implemented because we, as the controllers of the database, recognize the importance of privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we manage Personal Information that is collected during your visit to the website, and the choices you can make regarding to how this data is collected. ​What is Personal Information? "Personal Information", as defined in the Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 (hereinafter: the "Privacy Protection Law"), includes data relating to an identified individual or an identifiable individual, including by means of an identifying detail such as name, ID number, biometric identifier, location data, online identifier, or one or more details relating to a person's physical, health, economic, social or cultural condition.

4. Type of Personal Information Collected that is Directly Provided by You and Purposes of its Use.  

Currently, general data available on the website can be accessed without providing Personal Information. However, we receive or collect data from you in the following ways:  

 

4.1. Contact Details. If you choose to contact us through the Website, including by submitting an online form, sending an email to the email address displayed on the Website, or by any other means on the Website, you may be asked to provide us with certain information, such as your full name, email address, phone number, ID number, any files you choose to attach, and the details of your inquiry, in order for us to handle your inquiry and contact you, including by leaving messages, if necessary. If you choose not to provide the required information, we will not be able to handle your inquiry or contact you.  

 

4.2. Volunteering. When contacting us for the purpose of volunteering, including through an online form that we make available to you on the website, email, telephone, or any other means, you may be asked to provide us with certain information such as your full name, email address, and phone number, in order for us to review your inquiry, contact you, and manage the volunteering process, if relevant. If you do not provide the required information, we may not be able to respond to your inquiry or contact you about volunteering.  

 

4.3. Donations. When making a donation to the Initiative and to CommunityO, including through an online form available on the Website or by any other means, you may be asked to provide us with certain information, such as your full name, email address, ID number, phone number, payment details, and any note you choose to add, in order for us to process the donation, contact you if necessary, and maintain the records required in connection with the donation. If you choose not to provide the required information, we may not be able to accept your generous donation.  

 

4.4. Social Networks. We use social media platforms and other tools, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter/X, and WhatsApp, in order to respond to your inquiries, communicate with you, and support our ongoing activities. Any communication addressed to us through such platforms and tools will also be subject to the privacy policy and terms of use of the relevant platform.  

 

4.5. Newsletter. To receive updates and publications regarding our activities, including the "Alumot" document, you may be asked to register through an online form and provide us with certain information, such as your email address. If you do not provide the required information, we will not be able to send you such updates and publications.  

 

4.6. Information Relating to Third Parties. If you provide us with Personal Information relating to any third party in connection with your use of the Website, including when contacting us, submitting forms, volunteering, making a donation, or otherwise communicating with us, you are responsible for ensuring that the disclosure of such information is permitted under applicable law, or that you have obtained the required consent from such third party for the use of such information.  

 

5. Type of Personal Information Collected by Us that is Not Directly Provided by You and Purposes of its Use:  

 

5.1. Log Files. We may use log files. The data appearing in the log files includes your IP address, browser type, date or time stamp, referring/exit pages, filtering actions, clicks, and any other data that may be provided to us by your browser. We may use such data to analyze trends, manage the Website, track visitor traffic on the Website, and collect demographic data.

We use cookies on the Website for the purposes of data security, operation of the Website, adapting the services to your needs, displaying personalized data, and improving your user experience.
