Welcome to the Website of the Israel Strategic Futures Institute Initiative ("ISFI", or the "Initiative"), operated by CommunityO, an Israeli nonprofit organization, registration number 580777894(the "Organization"), (and collectively: "we", "us", or "our"), available at: https://www.israelstrategicfutures.org/ (the "Website"). The Website serves as a platform for presenting information about the Initiative's activities, including information about its vision, goals, research, publications, and team members, as well as content relating to the possibility of joining the Initiative's community including by applying to volunteer, signing public petitions, and donating to support the Initiative's activities (the "Services").
1. Acceptance of the Terms of Use
The use of the Website, its content, and the Services presented therein is subject to the following Terms of Use ("Terms of Use"). Registering or using the Website indicates your consent and approval of the Terms of Use. If you do not agree to the Terms of Use, you are not permitted to use the Website. We reserve the right to update these Terms of Use from time to time, at our sole discretion and without prior notice. Any change to these Terms of Use shall take effect upon its publication on the Website (in its most recent version at any given time). Your continued use of the Website following such change shall constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms of Use.
The use of the Website is intended for adults over the age of 18 who are legally competent. Minors who are at least 15 years old may use the Website with the consent of their parents or legal guardian. By accessing or using the Website, the user confirms compliance with these conditions.
2. The Services Provided on the Website
2.1. We may present information on the Website about our activities, including our research and development of strategic and structural solutions to the existential challenges facing the State of Israel, through press publications, videos, position papers, and policy documents, as well as information regarding entities collaborating with us, our team members, experts, and other relevant parties.
2.2. The Website may allow you to contact us through a contact form, including the "Let's Do It Together" form, a petition signing form, a volunteer questionnaire, a donation form, social media, or otherregistration forms, for the purpose of joining our community, receiving updates and content, receiving documents published by us from time to time, submitting an application to volunteer, signing public petitions, and contacting donors, volunteers, and individuals interested in our activities.
2.3. The Website may allow users to submit applications to volunteer with the Initiative or in connection with activities related to it. For the avoidance of doubt, the submission of an application to volunteer does not grant any right to be accepted as a volunteer, and we may, at our sole discretion, contact applicants, request additional documents, information, or declarations, conduct review or screening procedures, and approve or reject any application for volunteering.
2.4. The Website may allow users to sign petitions and publicly support the Initiative and its goals. By signing a petition or expressing such support, the user confirms that the details provided are true and accurate and acknowledges that we may publicly display or use information relating to such support in accordance with the Website's Privacy Policy and applicable law.
2.5. The Website may allow donations to the Initiative to support its activities. Only individuals over the age of 18 who are legally competent may make donations to the Initiative through the Website. Donations may be submitted using one of the following options, if such option is available on the Website:
2.5.1. One-time donation - a donation made as a single payment, which will be charged upon completion of the donation.
2.5.2. Monthly donation - a recurring donation that will be charged on a monthly basis in the amount selected by the donor at the time the donation is made, until canceled by the donor or by us in accordance with applicable law and/or these Terms of Use.
2.5.2.1. A donor who has selected a fixed monthly donation may cancel such donation at any time, and the cancellation shall take effect as of the next monthly charge date, provided that the cancellation notice is received by email at: info@israelstrategicfutures.org, prior to the applicable monthly charge date. Without limiting the foregoing, the donor may also cancel the monthly donation by contacting directly the credit card company or the payment service provider through which the donation was made, in accordance with the terms and procedures of such entity.
2.5.3. Donations from outside of Israel - donations made outside of Israel may be permitted only as one-time donations.
2.5.4. For any inquiry, request, notice, clarification, or update in connection with donations or donation details, users may contact us by email at: info@israelstrategicfutures.org.
2.5.5. Following completion of the donation, the donor will receive a receipt for the full donation amount for purposes of claiming a tax credit under Section 46(a) of the Income Tax Ordinance.
3. User Obligations on the Website
3.1. The Website is intended for personal and private use only, and it may not be used for any commercial purpose or for any other purpose without our prior written consent.
3.2. We seek to ensure that the Website is operated properly and appropriately, and that the various content and Services available through it serve users in an optimal and safe manner. Accordingly, you are required not to perform any of the following prohibited actions:
3.2.1. To provide, through the Website, including via the "Contact Us" form, the "Let's Do It Together" form, a petition signing form, a volunteer questionnaire, a donation submission form, social media, registration forms, or any other form, inquiry, or interaction in connection with the Website or our activities, any false, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information or data;
3.2.2. The user shall not provide, upload, submit, sign, transmit, or otherwise make available through the Website any personal information relating to a third party, nor act on behalf of a third party, unless the user is duly authorized to share such information and has obtained the third party's prior consent, or is required to share such information under applicable law.
3.2.3. To make any use of the Website for any unlawful act of any kind;
3.2.4. To impersonate any person or entity, or to publish or distribute through the Website, including via the "Contact Us" form, the "Let's Do It Together" form, a petition signing form, a volunteer questionnaire, a donation submission form, social media, or any other form, inquiry, or interaction in connection with the Website or our activities, any offensive, false, untrue, incorrect, misleading, incomplete, or inaccurate content, including content that is insulting, constitutes shaming, or harms the good name, privacy, or reputation of any person or organization, or any other similar content;
3.2.5. To modify, process, copy, extract information, disassemble, or reassemble any of the components of the Website and its contents;
3.2.6. To send "spam" or overload the Website's servers with any other mail;
3.2.7. To upload or transmit any material containing any type of virus or computer code intended to destroy, interfere, or restrict the use of any of the computers, servers, hardware, or software used by us for the operation of the Website. In addition, you may not use or permit the use of any computer application or any other means, including crawlers, robots, and similar tools, for the purpose of searching, scanning, copying, or automatically retrieving content from the Website. This includes creating or using any such means to create any compilation, collection, or database containing content from the Website;
3.2.8. To infringe in any way upon copyrights, trademarks, or any other proprietary rights found on the Website, including any commercial use of the Website without obtaining our prior written consent;
3.2.9. To violate the intellectual property rights of a third party;
3.2.10. To place the Website, or any part of it, within a frame of another website, or as part of another website;
3.2.11. To interfere in any way with the operation of the Website;
3.2.12. To collect information about people and organizations appearing on the Website, to sell, distribute, and/or make commercial use of the information on the Website, or to make any other use in a manner that could harm another person;
3.2.13. To disseminate a link to the Website from a Website containing pornographic content, violent content, content encouraging racism or discrimination, content that is unlawful or whose publication is prohibited by law, content encouraging unlawful activity, or content that may harm our reputation. We shall not be liable for any damage resulting from any link to the Website or from the display or publication of such content in any manner. The user shall bear sole and exclusive responsibility for any link, display, or publication, and shall indemnify us for any resulting damage.
3.3. We may, at our sole discretion and without derogating from any other right available to us, block and/or cancel users' access to the Website and/or any part thereof or to specific content on the Website,including by suspending or restricting the ability to make a donation, and/or upon the occurrence of any of the following cases: the user has committed an unlawful act or omission; the user has breached any provision of these Terms of Use; and/or the user's use of the Website does not comply with applicable law; the user has committed an act or omission that may harm us and/or anyone acting on ourbehalf and/or the proper operation of the Website and/or any third party; or the user has provided incorrect and/or misleading information. We reserve the right to take any additional measures we consider appropriate in order to protect our property, rights, and/or the rights of third parties.
4. No Representations
4.1. We provide the Website, the Services, and the information and content made available through it on an "AS IS" basis, and make no promise or representation, whether express or implied, statutory or otherwise, in connection with any engagement with us or our representatives, or with respect to the Website. Accordingly, the user shall have no claim, suit, or demand against us in connection with the foregoing. Your use of the Website shall be at your sole and full responsibility. We do not undertake that the Website will be secure, uninterrupted, available at all times, free from disruptions, immune from unlawful access, free of errors, or suitable for your requirements, or that any defect or deficiency therein will be corrected, and we shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage, distress, or the like caused to you or your property as a result thereof.
4.2. WITHOUT DEROGATING FROM THE ABOVE, ALL INFORMATION APPEARING ON THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL, PUBLIC, AND EXPLANATORY PURPOSES ONLY. IT SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS LEGAL ADVICE, PHILANTHROPIC ADVICE, STRATEGIC ADVICE, A PROFESSIONAL OPINION, A RECOMMENDATION TO ENTER INTO ANY ENGAGEMENT, OR A COMMITMENT TO ACHIEVE ANY SPECIFIC RESULT. IN ADDITION, THE PUBLICATION OF INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE ANY REPRESENTATION THAT ANY INITIATIVE, PETITION, RESEARCH, PROGRAM, PROPOSAL, OR PUBLIC MEASURE WILL BE ADVANCED, ADOPTED, APPROVED, OR IMPLEMENTED IN PRACTICE. FOR THE AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT, WE ARE A NON-PARTISAN INITIATIVE, AND THE CONTENT APPEARING ON THE WEBSITE DOES NOT CONSTITUTE SUPPORT, AFFILIATION, OR IDENTIFICATION WITH ANY POLITICAL PARTY. THE CONTENT ON THE WEBSITE, INCLUDING CONTENT RELATING TO OUR PROGRAMS, RESEARCH, STRUCTURAL PROPOSALS, OR PUBLIC INITIATIVES, REFLECTS THE INFORMATION, IDEAS, POSITIONS, AND PROPOSALS ON OUR BEHALF ONLY, AND ITS PUBLICATION SHALL NOT CONSTITUTE ANY COMMITMENT BY THE US TO PROVIDE ANY SERVICE OR ACHIEVE ANY SPECIFIC RESULT.

However, certain activities on the Website, including contacting us, joining the community, submitting a request to volunteer, signing a petition, or making a donation, may require the submission of personal information. If you choose to provide personal information through the Website, such information will be collected, processed, stored, and used in accordance with our Website Privacy Policy We recommend that you read our Privacy Policy carefully.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall we, or anyone acting on our behalf, be liable for any direct or indirect damage of any kind, loss, distress, or other similar harm arising from the use of the Website or the content and information published on the Website.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1. All intellectual property rights (of any kind), including trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights, whether registered or unregistered, in the Website and in any part thereof, including (without limiting the foregoing): content, design, and any software, application, computer code, graphic file, text, and any other material included in the Website, whether in the external interface, in the source code, or in the object code - are owned by us and/or by third parties, as applicable, and are protected by the copyright laws of the State of Israel, international conventions, and the copyright laws of other countries, as applicable.
8.2. Users are prohibited from making changes, copying, publishing, distributing, transmitting, displaying, performing, reproducing, licensing, creating derivative works, reverse engineering, or selling,whether in part or in whole, temporarily or permanently, in any form, any part of the information and content included in the Website, without our prior written consent and/or those of third parties, as applicable. In addition, no use may be made of the Website in a manner that constitutes or may constitute a violation or infringement upon our intellectual property rights and/or those of third parties, as applicable, without the relevant prior written consent.
8.3. All trademarks appearing on the Website are owned by us or, if posted on behalf of third parties, including advertisers or business partners, are owned solely by those third parties. Such trademarks may not be used without the relevant owner's prior written approval.
9. Miscellaneous
9.1. The availability of the information, content, and Services offered through the Website is not continuous and may, at times, also be subject to applicable law or to agreements entered into by us or anyone acting on our behalf with third parties, including payment processors, mailing service providers, information systems providers, and third-party platforms. Accordingly, we may, at our sole discretion, update and/or modify and/or cancel and/or remove any activity, Service, form, campaign, petition, option to donate, specific content, or any part of the Website, from time to time, with immediate effect and without prior notice, and you shall have no claim and/or demand in connection therewith against us.
9.2. All disputes, claims, and suits in connection with the Website, including, but not limited to, the Services provided therein and the information and content found on the Website, will be governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any matter concerning these Terms of Use and the use of the Website shall be the competent courts in the city of Tel Aviv-Yafo, and the parties expressly negate the jurisdiction of any other court in this matter.
9.3. If a court of competent jurisdiction determines that any provision of these Terms of Use is unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, such determination shall not affect the validity, lawfulness, or enforceability of the remaining provisions of these Terms of Use, and the remaining parts of the same provision that were not invalidated or limited shall remain in full force and effect.
9.4. Any delay by us in exercising a right to which we are entitled, or any failure to exercise a right available to us under these Terms of Use or applicable law, shall be deemed an act of leniency only and shall not constitute, or be construed as a waiver by us of such right.
